NetherRealm Studios director Ed Boon has revealed that he keeps a constant list of ideas ready for an eventual Injustice 3, with the game not yet officially announced. While the Mortal Kombat developer has not fully confirmed a sequel to the superhero fighting franchise, the series has proven to be a popular one for NetherRealm Studios. Injustice 2's 2017 launch won the "Best Fighting Game" award at that year's Game Awards, with many fans expecting a third game to be on the way in the future.
