According to a recent report, Ubisoft has green-lit a remake of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, but it's still early in development. As such, the title is years away from a proper reveal and release, and plenty could change between now and then. Ubisoft is currently working on a number of new Assassin's Creed games, as it is betting big on the franchise moving forward, and these include (but are not limited to) AC Mirage, AC Hexe, AC Red, and AC Nexus—a VR title featuring Ezio, Connor, and Kassandra.
