It appears that invasion portals during Helltide events in Diablo 4 have a vulnerability to a certain status effect. Taking on a more live service style, Diablo 4 is attempting to keep players grinding for loot for the long haul. Once the campaign has been finished, there's plenty more for players to do inside the end game as well as the upcoming seasonal content. As Season 1 approaches, players seem divided on some of the seasonal rules that Diablo 4 has in place.
